EXO CBX
The group EXO-CBX, CHEN, BAEKHYUN, XIUMIN filed an application for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of the exclusive contract against INB100.
On September 7, the 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court will hold the hearing date for the case regarding the application for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of the exclusive contract brought by CBX against INB100.
INB100 is a company founded by BAEKHYUN in June 2023, which was integrated in May of the following year into the label ONE HUNDRED of CEO Cha Gawon.
CBX notified CEO Cha Gawon last April of the termination of their exclusive contract for reasons such as non-payment of settlements. Despite this, the company not having responded, it seems they filed an injunction lawsuit.
CEO Cha is currently indicted with an arrest warrant since last August on suspicion of fraud exceeding 30 billion won.
Previously, CBX had notified SM Entertainment in June 2023 of the termination of their exclusive contract due to unvouched settlement statements and unfairly long contracts. Subsequently, both parties reached a mutual agreement.
Currently, EXO pursues its activities as a 5-member group, without the participation of CBX.
