TWICE: Brazil and Mexico overheated

As part of their fifth world tour, TWICE demonstrated their status as “Stadium Artist” by writing various moments with performances in major stadiums in Mexico and Brazil.

TWICE held a solo concert as part of the “READY TO BE” world tour at Allianz Parkey, Sao Paulo, Brazil, from February 6 to 7 (local time). The group’s concert was originally scheduled for February 6, as TWICE’s first solo performance in Brazil, but tickets quickly sold out. TWICE, who became the first K-pop girl group to fill the venue, added a performance on the 7th and responded to enthusiastic support from local fans.

The members of TWICE performed in North and South America on February 2 and 3, followed by México, Mexico, and Sao Paulo, Brazil, and reaffirmed their presence as a “stadium artist” . The Mexican concert, which was previously scheduled to take place once on the 3rd, added a performance on the 2nd thanks to public support, and it was also sold out. They notably met their fans at the Poro Sol in Mexico City, a large-scale concert hall whose capacity was multiplied by six compared to the third world tour in July 2019, and at the Allianz Parkey in Sao Paulo , they recorded the record for “the first sell-out in the history of a K-pop girl group”.

TWICE will be heading to the United States in March. They will perform at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on March 16 and recreate the excitement at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in June 2023 and MetLife Stadium in New York in July. They will also perform concerts at Janma Stadium in Osaka, Japan, and Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, where they will be the first female artists to enter overseas.

TWICE will officially release their 13th mini album “With YOU-th” at 2 p.m. KST on February 23.
