The band ONEWE, who reunited as a whole again, delivered a New Year’s Q&A with loving love from fans.
ONEWE recently came back into the loop after about a year and a half, as members YONGHOON and KANG HYUN were discharged from the military.
ONEWE, who debuted with the single “1/4” in May 2019, is widely loved for its iconic songs with unique concepts such as “Regulus”, “Your universe_” and “Rain to be“. The members demonstrated their unparalleled musicality with their exceptional vocals and performances as well as their versatile abilities such as songwriting and composition. They also captivated listeners with their broad musical spectrum through solo and unit activities.
The following is a Q&A of the group as a whole, who will undertake musical activities in 2024.
Q. YONGHOON and KANGHYUN were all released from the army recently. How does it feel to see your fans again?
YONGHOON: “I was looking forward to seeing them again as YONGHOON of ONEWE. I was grateful and sorry to the WEVEs (official name of the fandom) who cheered for me and waited for me like it was my job for I was in the army, but I’m so happy to see you again.”
KANGHYUN: “Thank you very much for waiting for me for a year and a half and I was able to support my military service thanks to WEVEs. I know your feelings so well, so I hope to reward you with our music.”
Q. What are your goals or activities that you want to achieve this year as a member during this year of the “Blue Dragon” 2024?
YONGHOON: “I hope that the year of the Blue Dragon 2024 can be the year of ONEWE. I want to meet more WEVEs and have concerts in front of our fans this year.“
KANGHYUN: “I want to play the songs I wrote with WEVEs in mind in the army as soon as possible.”
HARIN: “As we reunited as a group after a long time, we want to show our fans a better performance.”
DONGMYEONG: “I want to make a happy album with the members and let many people hear it. Look forward to our performances and concerts.“
GIWUK: “I can’t wait to perform with you all and show you lots of great works. We will come back with great performances, so look forward to it! If you would like anything for the new year, I would love to receive a ONEWE award this year. Please show us your support and love.“

YONGHOON: “I just want to thank you for waiting until today. I want you to know that I mean it. Thank you always and I will pay you back ♥”
KANGHYUN: “I want to share my feelings and my daily life with WEVEs. I got some comfort from watching WEVEs’ news through the fan cafe. I think it’s time to return it to you. I will thank you for all your love. Thank you very much.”
HARIN: “Thank you for waiting for ONEWE’s set of long-term activities. We will do our best this year, so please look forward to us and support us! We will come back with more activities!“
