SEOLA, a member of the group WJSN, conveyed sincere goodbyes upon leaving STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT, with whom she shared 15 years since her trainee days.
SEOLA revealed her sincere feelings following the end of her exclusive contract by uploading an image of a carefully written letter on her Instagram account on September 17.
Through this letter, SEOLA began by writing: “I am leaving STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT, with whom I shared 15 years of my life, to make a new start,” adding: “From the moment of our first meeting to today’s SEOLA, we have gone through so many seasons together.” She then expressed her deep gratitude toward the members of her agency, stating: “The time when I nurtured my dreams as a trainee, the moment I took the stage for the first time with WJSN, up to the moment I was able to make my music heard under my own name, when I look back, STARSHIP was always by my side for a large part of the first times and precious memories of my life.”
She also did not forget her affection for the fandom Ujung. SEOLA shared: “It is thanks to the love and support you sent me that I was able to make music I love and take the stage for so long without getting tired,” adding: “I am so relieved and happy because the path traveled is filled with miracles shared with Ujung.” She continued with this resolution: “Starting a new path is still a bit strange and makes me tremble, but I will walk step by step with all my heart, at my own pace.”
Having made her official debut in the music industry in 2016 within the group WJSN, SEOLA, as a member of the team’s vocal line, received great love for her solid vocal skills and pure visuals through numerous songs such as “Secret”, “I wish”, “Save me, save you”, and “As you wish”. She also proved her skills as a vocalist and singer-songwriter by releasing a solo album and participating in original soundtracks. After concluding 10 years of group activities and 15 years of companionship with her agency, SEOLA plans to pursue new challenges in various fields in the future.
