LISA, of girl group BLACKPINK, will make her on-screen debut in the third season of the HBO original series “The White Lotus“, US media Variety reported on Monday.
“LISA will be credited under her first name, Lalisa Manobal, in the third season of the hit HBO series,” Variety reported.
“The White Lotus” is an anthology series surrounding the guests and staff of a luxury resort chain, depicting the psychosocial dysfunction and privilege of the upper class. The series has received numerous accolades, including 15 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.
The first season of the series takes place in Hawaii while the second takes place in Sicily. The third season is expected to take place in Thailand and Phuket. Plot details and the specific role played by LISA have not yet been revealed.
The cast of the third season of “The White Lotus” includes Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood. With her role in “The White Lotus,” LISA will become the second BLACKPINK member to appear in an HBO series, after JENNIE made her debut in the 2023 series “The Idol.”
LISA recently established her own management company named Lloud, becoming the third BLACKPINK member to officially launch her solo career.
