Korean American singer ALEXA will release her English track “Sick” on Friday, according to the singer’s agency ZB Label today.

The song is ALEXA’s first release in eight months since releasing her digital single “JULIET” in June last year.
“Sick” is about the complexity of relationships, according to ZB Label. The lyrics describe the process by which someone who believes they are undeserving of another’s love and praise defines their worth.
The singer recently sat down for an interview on NBC’s talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” on which she also performed “Sick.”

ALEXA debuted in 2019 with her single “BOMB.” Her debut came after winning Soompi’s “Rising Legends: Season 2” (2017) and appearing on Mnet’s “Produce 48” (2018), both audition shows.
Since then, she has released songs including “A.I Trooper” (2020), “Do or die” (2020), “Villain” (2020), and “Revolution” (2020). She won Best Original Song at NBC’s “American Song Contest” with the digital single “WONDERLAND” in 2022.
The singer performed at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2023 held in November and December last year as the only Korean solo artist to do so.
