(G)I-DLE’s MINNIE showed her brilliant side as a producer.
Agency Cube Entertainment released a video of its own content “I-LOG” from (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) on its official YouTube channel at 10 p.m. KST on February 19.
In the released video, group member MINNIE showed the working machines of “7 Days” and “Vision” from the second full album, “2“, in which she participated in writing and composing.
On the day of recording the guide of “7 Days“, which was a demo song without lyrics at the time, MINNIE showed a playful smile when the work began in earnest, focusing on it all the time. MINNIE showed a professional appearance continuing to shout “again”, showing a charm different from her usual beautiful appearance.
In particular, MINNIE, who tried rap for the first time, also revealed herself through the work machine of the song “Vision”. MINNIE, who filled the song step by step from the melody, gave soft vocals only by humming, and released various recorded rap versions for her fans, showing her as a passionate singer-songwriter and producer.
MINNIE, who reflected on the ending while sharing ideas with the team, and also performed the rap lyrics for the first time. Since 2019, MINNIE has regularly featured on (G)I-DLE’s album credits, including “Blow your mind“, “Moon”, “Already” and “Escape”, and has met listeners around the world with her own color musical.
Because MINNIE, who has a broad musical spectrum, also draws attention to her actions as a producer beyond the artist.
MINNIE featuring (G)I-DLE recently completed a pop-up store in Seoul to celebrate the release of the second album, “2“. The pop-up store will be opened successively in Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and Melbourne.
