Girl group KISS OF LIFE was recognized by critics as the best rookie.
KISS OF LIFE won the “Rookie of the Year” award at the 21st Korean Music Awards held on the 29th of last month. KISS OF LIFE, which presents an album combining comprehensiveness, rich sensuality, power, strong singing ability and fresh boldness, is meaningful in that it confirms that K-pop is still an organism with the vitality to create the novelty, the reason why its selection as rookies of the year, indicated the Korean Music Awards on their website.

KISS OF LIFE released two mini albums based on music that can show its unique personality without following the trend of the music industry in 2023, making them a representative girl group of the 5th generation. The mini album “BORN TO BE XX”, released in November last year, caused a sensation in the music industry, recording a reverse trend.
The Korean Music Awards, which began in 2004, were selected by focusing only on musical achievements, not popularity, frequency of radio appearances and sales volume, and KISS OF LIFE managed to catch two “rabbits” at the same time, not only popularity but also unique irreplaceable musicality.
KISS OF LIFE will hold its second overseas fan meeting “DEAR KISSY” in Bangkok, Thailand on March 17.
