The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency announced on June 1 that the Busan Music Creation Center will hold a “Dream of Ground” competition with the Lotte Giants professional baseball club.
The competition, which will run until July 12, will be divided into two areas: Busan cheering song, consisting of free Busan-related materials, and Lotte Giants team or player cheering song .
It will also compete in direct creation and creation with artificial intelligence (AI).
In the direct creation category, two cheering songs from Busan and one cheering song from the team and players will be selected, and a cash prize of 3 million won (approximately 2,000 euros) will be awarded to each field.
The Busan Cheering Special Award will receive 2 million won (1,300 euros) in prize money.
In the AI Creation category, one Busan cheering song and one player cheering song will be selected, and the winners will receive two 2025 subscriptions and a Skybox cheering ticket.
The winner of the competition will be produced as a sound source with the support of the facilities, equipment and engineers of the Busan Music Creation Center and will be used as the official cheer song for the Lotte Giants club.
