THE KINGDOM
Group THE KINGDOM (Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Hwon and Jahan) will launch and hit hard at Gocheok Dome for the first time in two years.
According to its agency GF Entertainment, on June 2, THE KINGDOM will pitch and strike for the final match of the three consecutive weekend matches between Kiwoom Heroes and SSG Landers in the 2024 KBO League at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul at 2 p.m. KST today.
THE KINGDOM received an official invitation from local team Kiwoom Heroes in 2022 and completed the first pitch and strike for a professional baseball game since its debut. LOUIS will pitch on the mound and IVAN will hit in the batter’s box for THE KINGDOM, which will visit the Gocheok Dome again in two years. Before the start of the game, all members will also perform on the field.
LOUIS and IVAN declared:
“It is an honor to have the opportunity to make the first pitch and hit the ball for the second time at the Gocheok Sky Dome. We hope that the players will show excellent performances without getting injured, and THE KINGDOM will encourage them .”
THE KINGDOM completed its Chapter 1, which had seven episodes in total, and, made its comeback with its new mini-album “REALIZE”, which marks the beginning of the worldview of Chapter 2. THE KINGDOM is promoting the main title “Flip that coin” and its title “Energy”.
The album topped the “iTunes K-pop albums” charts and daily single charts in three countries: the United States, the Czech Republic and New Zealand. It also reached the top 6 of the K-pop charts in nine countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Australia, Italy and Mexico.
