Music fans’ expectations are rising as the release of the AKMU duo’s third mini-album, “LOVE EPISODE“, is a day away.

YG Entertainment released “AKMU – [LOVE EPISODE] D-1 POSTER” on June 2. This image shows the visuals of LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SOO HYUN in a mysterious background reminiscent of a fairy tale.
The unusual concept, as if embracing a certain history, is impressive. LEE CHAN HYUK playing the violin alone in the falling snow on a winter night, and LEE SOO HYUN, surrounded by a flower garden and seemingly deep in thought, create a solitary atmosphere.

Fans’ curiosity is increasing in an atmosphere quite different from the teaser content published so far. Through the poster, attention is focused on the musical world that AKMU will reveal in the new song “Hero” and the stories it contains.
Earlier, YG Entertainment released the MV teaser of its title song “Hero” on its official SNS on May 31. The fairy tale-like video began with LEE CHANHYUK walking through a snowstorm and LEE SOO HYUN walking through a castle in a dress.

The video attracted attention with a unique production that appears to introduce the characters. LEE CHAN HYUK, Dandelion seed, Frog prince, Lady bug, Knight, Ant and Tree appeared one after another introducing each character, and question marks were written on LEE SOOHYUN‘s head, raising questions. questions about her identity.
The subtitles announcing the beginning and the end stimulated the imagination in relation to fairy tales. The phrase “To Be Continued” which appears after the emergence of a message in the glass bottle has raised expectations for the main episode of the music video as well as for the story of AKMU which will unfold through this album.
AKMU will release their third mini album “LOVE EPISODE” at 6 p.m. KST on June 3. The title track “Hero” is an impressive song with a dreamlike and addictive melody, and the lyrics that compare loved ones to “Hero” should bring new enjoyment.
On June 15 and 16, AKMU will hold its solo concert “10VE” in Seoul as part of a two-day project to commemorate its 10th anniversary. In August, it will perform on the stage of “Summersonic 2024“, Japan’s largest music festival, to expand its global business base.
