A teaser for the music video for “Hey! Hey!” by TWS, a popular rookie group, has been revealed. Parts of the song with its bright and catchy atmosphere were also revealed for the first time, signaling a resurgence in popularity.
TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyungmin) posted a teaser for the music video for “Hey! Hey!” on the Hybe Label YouTube channel on May 3 at midnight KST. “Hey! Hey!” is one of the tracks from TWS’ second mini-album “SUMMER BEAT!” which will be released on June 24, and it’s full of their unique refreshing charm and high-teen energy.
In fact, the music video teaser for “Hey! Hey!” begins with the sound of the school bell, which seems to announce summer vacation. Then, a powerful rock-based guitar and ripping drum sound are played, and the members of TWS are dynamically depicted running away with bright smiles.
The members go on an impromptu trip to create memories together. They throw down their bags and play basketball in the street, or take photos while looking at the scenery outside on the bus. Images of people enjoying their freedom, arms wide open in front of the sea at sunset, convey the pure and beautiful feeling of youth.
Particularly, the chant “We don’t stop” and the sports performance seen on the basketball court stage make people look forward to a new side of TWS. The song “우연을 넘은 운명이라 믿어” at the end of the music video teaser also makes the hearts of fans around the world beat faster.
The music and video for “Hey! Hey!” will be released at 6 p.m. KST on June 5. As TWS continues their long-term success on major music charts with their debut track “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아“, attention is focused on the music they will perform this summer with “SUMMER BEAT!“.
