WAKER: Summer return for the group

Group WAKER will make its first comeback after six months.

Agency Howling Entertainment announced on June 18 that WAKER (Kohyeon, Kwon Hyeop, Ijun, Leo, Saebyeol, and Sebum) was confirmed to return on July 16.

WAKER, a six-piece boy group, made its official debut after releasing its first mini album, “MISSION OF SCHOOL“, on January 8. Since then, it has actively promoted its first title song, “Atlantis”, attracting public attention, becoming a fifth-generation rising boy group.

WAKER has notably continued its activities in Japan since its debut and has a large number of local fans listed on various K-pop voting sites. It took unusual steps across Korea and Japan, holding its first fan meeting in Japan in March.

Additionally, WAKER gained a lot of attention at the time of its debut, with all members appearing on audition programs and members having completed their military service. On top of that, expectations for a comeback are growing as a group, from visuals to skills.

WAKER, who met its fans through various domestic and international activities such as Japanese fan meetings, first pitches and photos, as well as several stages after the release of its first mini album, will continue its domestic activities in its own right, with music, broadcasts, starting with this return. The focus is on what kind of music and concept WAKER will present to K-pop fans.

WAKER’s new album will be released worldwide at 6 p.m. KST on July 16.
