JO KWON: The separation with Cube, gently

Singer and musical actor JO KWON is leaving Cube Entertainment.

JO KWON posted on his social networking service (SNS) on June 17, saying, “I will not forget the precious moments spent with Cube Entertainment,” adding, “I sincerely appreciate it.”

Cube Entertainment also announced on the same day: “The exclusive contract with the company ended on June 17, 2024, after sufficient discussions with its artist JO KWON. We sincerely thank him, who has been active in various fields with a constant passion and boundless energy as an artist from 2018 to today.“

The agency added: “We will always support JO KWON, which is embarking on a new journey into the future.”

JO KWON debuted in the group 2AM in 2008. Since then, he has been actively working as a solo singer and musical actor.
