ATEEZ once again makes K-pop history by performing as the headliner of the MAWAZINE Festival.
This June 23, ATEEZ closed the famous MAWAZINE Festival by presenting a spectacular one-hour show on the OLM SOUISSI main stage.
The MAWAZINE festival, which takes place in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, began in 2001 and celebrated its nineteenth anniversary this year. It is one of the world’s leading music festivals, attracting more than 2.5 million spectators annually. ATEEZ became a hot topic when announcing its participation, as it is the first invitation for a K-pop artist. An invitation that will mark the minds of the festival-goers present.
Indeed, ATEEZ opened its performance with “Win”, the title track of its first studio album “TREASURE EP.FIN: ALL TO ACTION”, and immediately drew attention to the group thanks to its theatrical set and energetic choreography. The group then continued with “Say my name” and “Guerrilla” with an explosive energy that will set the tone for this hour-long performance.
Before continuing, the group greeted the public by declaring:
“Morocco is a really special place for us. We filmed the music video for our first song in the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Today we feel like we’re back at the beginning. We want to make today an unforgettable day. »
An unforgettable performance that continues with the group’s first song, “Pirate king“, a song that many ATINY (fandom name) have been waiting for, followed by “Answer“, “Arriba” and “Django“. The group was able to satisfy its audience by presenting a varied set list and a spectacular staging. Indeed, ATEEZ presented “Good lil boy” and “Wave“, which allowed the members to move freely on stage and interact with the public, or even “Crazy Form“, “Fireworks (I’m the one)“, “Work” and “Bouncy (K-hot chilli peppers)” who set the stage on fire with passionate performances.
Throughout the show, the members showcased their unwavering vocal talents while performing powerful choreography for over an hour, demonstrating their tireless energy.
To finish its performance, ATEEZ declared:

Since the release of its first song “Pirate king” in 2018, ATEEZ has embarked on a unique journey worldwide. Today, the group returned to Morocco, the anchor point of its first trip, and became the first K-pop artist to perform at the MAWAZINE festival, thus writing a new page in history and raising fans’ expectations for future performances.
Finally, ATEEZ will appear on Nihon TV’s “BEAT AX Vol.4” show held at Makuhari Messe, Japan on June 28-29.
