BTS’ JIMIN said of his upcoming solo album “MUSE,” “I want to show you how I grew up.“
BTS released a teaser video for “교환앨범 MMM (Mini & Moni Music) – Jimin” on the group’s official YouTube channel at 5 p.m. KST on July 11. The “교환앨범 MMM” is a content in which RM and JIMIN listen to each other’s achievements in advance and share their honest stories about music. The video is for JIMIN’s second solo album, “MUSE”, which will be released on July 19, following RM’s second solo album “RIGHT PLACE, WRONG PERSON” in May.
JIMIN introduced the new album by saying, “It’s been a while since I’ve been interested in something. I wanted to put that emotion into the album,” and had time to listen to the new album in advance . JIMIN couldn’t hide his nervousness as it was the first time he played his music to RM, and RM immediately replied, “Good” to JIMIN, praising his warm friendship.
“I wanted to include my story in the album because I was influenced by the members,” JIMIN said. RM raised expectations for the new album by saying, “Wouldn’t it be nice if you listened to it like you were in a Jimin-themed amusement park?“
JIMIN will release all songs from his second solo album “MUSE” at 1 p.m. KST on July 19 and the music video for the title song “Who” worldwide. The new album, which is about the journey to find the source of inspiration, will include seven songs on the theme of love. A highlights medley will be revealed on the 14th, where you can listen to the entire album in advance, and a teaser for the title track’s music video will be released on the 17th.
