The group WAKER is targeting fans with a lot of energy to tour this summer.
WAKER (Kohyeon, Kwon Hyeop, Ijun, Leo, Saebyeol and Sebum) released a teaser for the music video for “Vanilla choco shake“, the title song of its second mini album “SWEET TAPE” on his official SNS accounts at midnight on July 12.
The music video, released that day, begins with KWON HYEOP and IJUN heading somewhere on their bikes. Next, the members of WAKER dressed in pastel-colored suits and displayed a fresh atmosphere. The images of the members dancing to the beat aroused the enthusiasm of viewers.
WAKER then showed off its eight-color charm, exchanging coolness and charisma. WAKER’s refreshing sound and unique transformation were enough to melt women’s hearts. Above all, the dynamic and synchronous group dance and the melody that instantly hits the ears of the members give a hint of success.
The music video was directed by Johnny Bros. director Lee Sagang. Lee Sagang directed the music video of many singers, including Ha Dong Qn, 2AM, UV, Donghae & Eun-hyuk, Eric Nam, Nine Muses, Kingdom and Bang Yedam, which add to the expectations.
“SWEET TAPE” is WAKER’s new mini-album, after “MISSION OF SCHOOL”, released in January. WAKER plans to meet K-pop fans around the world with enhanced music and performances.
WAKER had already included 10 songs in its first mini album, which is unusual for a debuting idol group. It also included nine songs in its new mini album, sparking curiosity about the new album by showing its sincerity.
