Singer-songwriter AOORA is active as a Korean wave star in Dubai, after India.
AOORA recently attended the “2024 India-Dubai Filmfare ME (2024 Filmfare ME)” held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and won the Global Influencer of the Year award. This was the first time a Korean artist won an award at the ceremony, and he sang “Jimmy Jimmy“, a song that symbolizes Bollywood in the 1980s and remade it in K-pop style, to warm up the ceremony.
The “2024 India-Dubai Filmfare ME” brought together over 300 celebrities, including Bollywood and GCC personalities, and AOORA became the main character of the special award with Taha Shah Badussha, the protagonist of the Netflix original series “Heeramandi”, which has caused a sensation around the world and proved how much attention is paid locally.
AOORA is a K-pop artist currently working in India and the Middle East, having a viewership of up to 200 million and being the first Korean personality to appear in “Big Boss Season 17“, a reality show representing India for 17 years, reaching the final top 10 and impressing her presence on Indian fans.
