MAMAMOO member SOLAR is successfully conducting her first solo tour since her debut.
On July 27, SOLAR held her first solo tour “Solar 2ND CONCERT [COLOURS]” (hereinafter “COLOURS”) in Singapore.
On that day, SOLAR showed her charms as a soul singer and sometimes a musical diva. In particular, SOLAR completed a rich set list by selecting songs from her solo album released under her name, such as with her second mini album, “COLOURS”, and performing covers under the title “Solar Sensibility“.
As this is SOLAR’s first solo tour, “COLOURS” provided an unforgettable special experience with various events that fans could participate in together. SOLAR not only communicated with fans in the local language during the performance, but also briefly played fans’ song requests on site. SOLAR also prepared different cover stages of local popular songs in each city, which received enthusiastic responses from fans.
SOLAR said through her agency RBW, “I think I experienced a lot and learned a lot from meeting Yongsoons (the fandom’s official name) from different cities, starting with Seoul, the first concert venue. Since this is my first solo tour, I think it will remain a more special and precious memory,” and added, “I tried to make it a performance like a ‘complete gift box,’ but I’m proud that many people enjoyed it. I will also pass on the positive energy I received to fans at the Macau concert in October.“
Meanwhile, SOLAR, who successfully held her first solo tour “COLOURS” in seven Asian regions including Seoul, will continue to perform in Macau on October 6.
