(G)I-DLE won the hearts of the audience as a special guest at “SUMMER SWAG 2024“.
(G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) took the stage as guests for the “SUMMER SWAG 2024 – Daejeon” performance held at Daejeon Mokwon University Grand Stadium on July 27.
(G)I-DLE made a surprise appearance by singing the chorus of “Klaxon” live, chanting “우 우아우 Honk honk hit the 클락션,” and received enthusiastic cheers from the audience. All members performed “Klaxon” with mid-short hairstyles and cool outfits.
(G)I-DLE entered the stage singing “나는 아픈 건 딱 질색이니까” (“Fate”) one after another, and the members each responded to the audience, creating a performance atmosphere. On August 20, (G)I-DLE was preparing to be on the guest stage of “SUMMER SWAG“, but the performance was suspended due to heavy rain, so they returned to “SUMMER SWWAG” again that day.
“We will have concerts on August 3 and 4. It will be a lot of fun,” SOYEON said, sharing the news of (G)I-DLE’s 2024 world tour in Seoul. Afterwards, (G)I-DLE took commemorative photos with the audience and gave them an intense live performance of “Tomboy,” which had the audience singing along.
(G)I-DLE released their 7th mini album “I SWAY” on July 8 and worked with the title track “Klaxon”. “Klaxon” is loved as a representative summer song for its cool pop strings, brass, rhythmic guitar sounds, and spot-on choreography.
After finishing promotion for their 7th mini album, the members of (G)I-DLE are preparing for “(G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN SEOUL” which will be held at KSPO DOME (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul on August 3 and 4 for their third world tour.
