TWICE’s music video for “What is love?” has been viewed 800 million times on YouTube.

The music video for “What is love?“, the title track of TWICE’s fifth mini album, released on April 9, 2018, surpassed 800 million views on YouTube at around 4:30 a.m. on July 27. With this, TWICE created the group’s first music video with 800 million views and renewed their own record.
“What is love?” is a song written and composed by JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin Young, which expresses the curiosity of girls who have learned about love through books, movies, and dramas, and features bright and catchy melodies. The music video, in which the members transform into the main characters of a famous movie and exude their unique and charming energy, was highly praised by fans at home and abroad.
In addition to “What is love?“, which has over 800 million views for the first time, TWICE continues to record the highest number of views among girl groups worldwide, with a total of 24 billion views, including 600 million views for “TT”, “Likey”, “FANCY”, 500 million views for “Cheer up“, “I can’t stop me“, “Feel special“, “Ooh-ahh“, as well as the four Japanese songs and the English singles “The feelings” and “Moonlight sunrise“.
