According to the legal community, on August 23, Judge Choi Minhye of the 26th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court received KIM HO JOONG‘s bail application on the 21st. Bail is a system that suspends the execution of detention on the condition that the arrested defendant posts bail and releases him.
KIM HO JOONG is accused of hitting a taxi in the opposite lane and fleeing from a road in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 11:40 p.m. KST on May 9. A taxi driver “A” was treated with a two-week treatment, and after his escape, it was revealed that KIM HO JOONG urged a Think Entertainment employee to give false information.
Initially, KIM HO JOONG did not admit to driving under the influence of alcohol, but as the controversy grew, he finally admitted his actions after continuing to speak out, and he was finally arrested and tried on the 24th of last month.
At the second hearing held on September 19, KIM HO JOONG stated, “We acknowledge all the charges” and agreed with the accident victim. Recently, the victim filed a petition asking for leniency for KIM HO JOONG. As a result, the court will review the files and hold a final hearing on September 30 at 10 a.m. KST.
