HONGJOONG unveils “Why do love“, a unique title reflecting the persona of ATEEZ’s leader.
Nine months after “A Walker“, HONGJOONG unveils, to the surprise of fans, the music video for his latest song “Why do love” on the YouTube channel of ATEEZ. This new alternative pop song, written by HONGJOONG and BALM, highlights the feelings felt after separating from a loved one. Through this song, HONGJOONG perfectly expresses these deep thoughts that navigate between hope and doubt of a truly eternal love.
In addition, the music video for “Why do you love“, partially filmed in Paris, shows a HONGJOONG wandering the streets lost in his memories. Those memories and doubts are portrayed through intimate and profound drawings. This feeling of intimacy and nostalgia is reinforced by the rather pale colour palette of the music video and by the grain of the image giving an old look. Thus, “Why do love” captivates us in this romantic story in which everyone can recognize themselves.
Finally, the group ATEEZ, of which HONGJOONG is the leader, will perform at “WATERBOMB 2024 LOS ANGELES” on September 28 and 29.
