Taiwan’s most popular girl group GENBLUE has confirmed its Korean debut date.

GENBLUE (XXIN, Ayeon, Yuan, Lili, Ayako, and Nico) released the teaser image for “COCOCO” for its upcoming August 26 at 6 p.m. KST and announced that the group will be making their Korean debut at 6 p.m. KST on September 2.
In the “coming soon” teaser for “COCOCO,” the title track’s spelling “COCOCO” is inserted on a pink background as a graphic reminder of a shooting star. A star graphic reminiscent of a character is inserted with it, signaling GENBLUE’s infinite worldview like the universe.
GENBLUE is a six-member girl group selected from Taiwan’s survival program “NEXT GIRLZ,” which airs in 2023. Expectations are rising for how GENBLUE will show itself to Korean fans on September 2, a week from now.

GENBLUE is considered Taiwan’s most beloved girl group, with its Taiwanese album “FOR YOU” topping the album sales charts (according to iTop Chart TAIWAN). In the meantime, GENBLUE is showing its passion for K-pop, including returning to their trainee life to fulfill its dream.
In the meantime, GENBLUE’s debut album is currently airing every Tuesday at 7:30 PM on SBS M and SBS FiL’s “GenBlue’s Sweat Song Debut Table“. The program is also airing on Taiwan OTT on Fridays, attracting enthusiastic support from local fans in Taiwan.
