SEVENTEEN - MINGYU
L’Occitane Korea has apologized after one of its employees posted a shirtless photo of boy group SEVENTEEN member MINGYU.

“We sincerely apologize for the recent incident involving the unauthorized publication of photos from L’Occitane’s ambassador campaign in Asia,” L’Occitane Korea said on X yesterday.
“We fully understand that there is no excuse for this violation and we fully accept responsibility for what happened.”
L’Occitane Korea also apologized to the artist and all fans “for causing distress,” and said that “the employee involved has been completely relieved of his duties and immediate disciplinary action has been taken.”

The French luxury label came under fire after the company’s employee shared dozens of private photos of MINGYU from the brand’s photoshoot on her personal Instagram account.
A shirtless photo was included in the compilation, sparking a backlash from fans.
MINGYU was named L’Occitane’s ambassador in Asia in May.
SEVENTEEN is a 13-member boy group that debuted under Pledis Entertainment in 2015. They recently performed at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama on May 25 and 26, which is one of Japan’s largest concert venues and can accommodate up to 70,000 spectators.
