Big Planet Made Entertainment has drawn its sword to address the damage caused by deepfakes of its artists.

On September 6, Big Planet Made Entertainment stated,
“We are aware of the recent spread of deepfake (AI-based composite video) productions targeting our artists and take them very seriously. We are collecting evidence and related data, including fan reports, as well as self-monitoring, and are preparing to respond in cooperation with a professional legal team.”
“We will never tolerate all such illegal activities to protect the rights and interests of artists, and we will take strong legal measures without leniency towards the producers and other distributors concerned,” it said.
Finally, the agency stated, “Big Planet Made Entertainment will continue to prioritize the protection of artists and ensure that all possible measures are taken.”
Many agencies are currently taking action against this kind of content.
