Singer KIM JONG HYEON of boy band NU’EST will join the military today.
KIM JONG HYEON will join the military as an active duty member and will complete his mandatory military service. After completing a five-week basic military training, he will be deployed to the military and serve for a year and a half.
According to the agency, there are no separate events related to KIM JONG HYEON‘s enlistment, and he will enter the military behind closed doors.
At his “ANDING” fan meeting before joining the military on September 2, he said, “Thank you and thank you very much for the moment I am writing this letter. I will return safely and without getting sick. I believe that you will welcome me brighter and stronger the day we meet again. See you soon.”
Meanwhile, KIM JONG HYEON debuted as a member of NU’EST in 2012. NU’EST released the title tracks “Hello”, “Overcome”, and “Love me“, and ended his group activities in 2022 when his exclusive contract with his agency expired.
During his activities as a member of NU’EST, he appeared on Mnet’s audition show “Produce 101 Season 2” and gained more exposure, and has now established himself as a solo singer and actor.
