B1A4’s CNU will appear in the creative musical comedy “여신님이 보고 계셔 (Litt: Goddess is watching)“.
His agency WM Entertainment stated, “B1A4’s CNU will appear in the musical ‘Goddess is Watching.’ Please look forward to the musical of CNU, who has been active in various fields.”
Based on the historical context of the Korean War, the musical ‘여신님이 보고 계셔‘ imagines the existence of ‘God’ to realize the dream of returning safely while soldiers from both Koreas drift on a deserted island, and captures humanity and hope in the image of building faith and unity.
In this work, CNU plays the role of Ryu Soonho, an innocent North Korean soldier who believes in a god after panicking due to the aftermath of war. CNU, who received favorable reviews from audiences for his bright and positive character “Shota” in his first stage drama earlier this year through “찬란하고 찬란,” is expected to show a new side in this work by playing a character who undergoes various emotional changes.
Starting from “Anatoli,” the main character of the musical “Chess” in 2015, CNU, who has appeared in a number of works such as “The Three Musketeers,” “Hamlet,” and “Gwangju,” has performed various acting activities in the KBS2 drama “선녀가 필요해,” the SBS drama “Ms. Ma Nemesis,” and the tvN drama “O’PENing(오프닝) 2022 – 1등 당첨금 찾아가세.”
In addition, many fans are paying attention to CNU’s activities in a wide range of fields, including B1A4’s 8th mini album released in January this year, writing and composing the title song “Rewind,” as well as plays and musicals.
Meanwhile, the musical will be performed at Interpark Uniflex Hall 1 in Daehak-ro from November 26 to March 3, 2025, where CNU will perform, and the first ticket sale will open at 4 p.m. KST on October 15 on Interpark Ticket.
