YG Entertainment‘s new girl group BABYMONSTER will pre-release the music video for its first full album’s double title track, “Clik clak,” on October 30 at 1 p.m. KST.

YG Entertainment released the teaser image for “[DRIP] ‘CLIK CLAK’ M/V COMING SOON” on its official blog on October 28. “Clik clak” is attracting a lot of attention as executive producer Yang Hyun Seok is confident about the great completeness of the music and music videos and is set to release a double title track with “Drip.”
BABYMONSTER has been gaining attention early on for its special pre-promotion, releasing two tracks over a minute long every week for three weeks leading up to its comeback. This has led to expectations for all of the tracks, which have intense musical perfection, and a variety of creatives have been organized by fans, including reaction videos.
In particular, the album’s first track “Clik clak,” which was revealed first, is currently receiving nearly 6 million views due to a steady upward trend. Fans were eager to check out the full song due to the seven members’ unconventional attempt at rapping, so it is expected that the main episode will be more popular when it is released.
In addition, BABYMONSTER’s comeback is being reborn as a very large-scale project by Yang Hyun Seok, the executive producer. In particular, it took less than a year from the official debut to the release of the full album. This is unusually fast for YG Entertainment as well as the recent K-pop market.
As Yang Hyun Seok is making every effort to develop their future activities more quickly, BABYMONSTER will focus on domestic promotions until the end of this year and will begin expanding their global base with a worldwide tour starting next year. Not only will the group release their first full album, but they will also hold their first tour after their debut, which will be the shortest period in the recent K-pop market.
YG Entertainment stated, “BABYMONSTER has already been described as a talented newcomer who can be trusted and listened to through many stages, and who is also proficient in five languages targeting the global market. We will be visiting fans in Korea and overseas who have supported us in person starting next year, so please look forward to it.”
In the meantime, BABYMONSTER will be returning with its first full-length album “DRIP” at 1 p.m. KST on November 1. The album will feature nine tracks from various genres, including the double-tracks “Drip” and “Clik clak.”
