SM Entertainment held an internal discussion session dubbed “SMile Impact” on Wednesday to prepare for the 10th edition of its “SMile Music Festival.“

“Over the past 10 years, ‘SMile Music Festival’ has established itself as a unique program that combines SM Entertainment’s core competencies with social contributions. We will continue to strive to help more young people nurture their dreams and grow up healthily through this program,” the agency said in its press release on Thursday.
Attended by SM Entertainment’s executive director Lee Sung Soo and approximately 70 related staff members, the session included business presentations, discussions on the program’s goals, and festive performances. SM Entertainment staff discussed providing more opportunities for marginalized youth to engage in cultural and artistic experiences by providing them with more training, mentoring, and internship opportunities.
This year’s ‘SMile Music Festival’ will be held on November 16 at the Centennial Memorial Hall of Dongduk Women’s University in Seongbuk-gun, northern Seoul. The event will feature four vocal teams, two rock groups, and four dance teams and will be broadcast live on SM Entertainment‘s social contribution YouTube channel.
