Boy group TWS showed off its “rookie generation” side as they explored a college festival filled with sing-alongs.
After debuting with Keimyung University (September 27), TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) recently participated in the international campus festival of Chungnam National University (October 28), Gachon National University, and Kyung Hee University (October 30).
At these university festivals, TWS performed a variety of songs, including its debut song “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” and the title track of its second mini album, “내가 S면 넌 나의 N이 되어줘“, as well as “Hey! Hey!“, “Unplugged boy“, “BFF”, “Double take“, and “Oh My : 7s“.
The moment when TWS’s synchronized dance, cool live performance, and fresh energy acted as a powerful catalyst in the golden age of youth. The members actively interacted freely on stage and encouraged the audience to react.
The audience responded to TWS’s exceptional stage manners by singing along. The lively reunion especially reached its climax when the group sang the chorus “첫 만남은 너무 어려워 / 계획대로 되는 게 없어서” without music.
“The audience’s energy is so great that we continue to gain strength while we perform. Thank you,” the members said with a big smile.
TWS also received huge cheers for their witty style. They wore sweatshirts and sports jerseys with each school’s logo on them. The athletic outfits matched well with the group’s energetic performance.
TWS, who have successfully completed performances at several college festivals, are stepping up its preparations for its comeback. Its comeback, which is expected to be announced next month, is its first in about five months since the release of its second mini album “SUMMER BEAT!” in June.
