BTS’s V has proven his popularity beyond the military flag.
With global fandom platform “UPICK” voting for “the idol whose birthday is in December” from the 21st to the 4th of last month, BTS’s V came out on top.
The vote was held for artists whose birthdays are in December, and V became the number 1 in the end with 82,773,331 votes, after a fierce battle with ZEROBASEONE’s KIM JI WOONG, ENHYPEN’s SUNGHOON, and BTS’s JIN.
V, the first-place main artist, will receive a digital “샤이니지” (signage) at the Hongdae Airport Railroad as a reward.
In particular, V is one step closer to becoming the main character of the 15 domestic and overseas advertising packs given to artists who collected five of the top selection badges, earning a total of three “best choice” votes as well as birthday votes, raising expectations for future voting.
V continues to demonstrate global popularity, surpassing 3.8 billion streams as of October 30, for songs from his solo album “LAYOVER”, drama soundtracks, self-composed songs, and “FRI(END)S” released during his military service.
