THE BOYZ - SUNWOO
It has been reported that THE BOYZ‘s SUNWOO was “assaulted” by a sasaeng.

THE BOYZ‘s agency IST Entertainment released a statement on THE BOYZ’s official fan cafe on November 14, saying,
“Recently, acts that violate artists’ privacy and threaten their safety continue to occur, so we would like to share our stance on this matter.”
The agency stated, “As many illegal activities continue, such as unauthorized visits to places related to artists’ private lives such as offices and stores, private schedules, spreading malicious rumors, taking photos and videos while unreasonably attending members’ activities at the airport entrance and exit, following vehicles, and attempting to contact family members, acquaintances, and people around them, are causing serious mental and material harm.”
“On November 9th, THE BOYZ member SUNWOO exited the elevator heading to his residence after finishing his schedule and was about to open his front door when an illegally present girl who was hiding on the fire escape stairs of the floor approached him. SUNWOO, who felt threatened by this behavior, immediately notified our employee who caught the illegally present person who broke into the building and handed her over to the police.”
The agency said, “He was hit multiple times while holding the girl who was trying to escape, and the person was arrested as a criminal for home invasion and assault, and a police investigation is currently underway. SUNWOO and our staff member went to a nearby hospital immediately after the accident for examination and treatment, and are continuously checking their condition and taking necessary measures.“
“We recently confirmed that a geolocation tracker was attached to an artist’s vehicle parked in front of our company’s office building, and that another vehicle tire was intentionally damaged by another person. Both incidents were acknowledged immediately after identification, so further damage could be prevented, and CCTV was forwarded for police reports to be made.” it said.
“These acts are clearly illegal acts that cause mental and material harm to artists and staff. We respond to illegal acts, including invasion of privacy, with zero tolerance, and will take clear legal measures accordingly.” the agency stated.
THE BOYZ made its comeback with their ninth mini album “導火 Line” on the 28th of last month.
