Source Music announced on January 2 that GFRIEND’s (Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji) special album “SEASON OF MEMORIES” will be released on the 13th of next month at 6 p.m. KST. Before the album’s release, GFRIEND plans to pre-release a new song on January 6 at 12 p.m. KST to build up the mood for its comeback.
GFRIEND will also hold a solo concert at Seoul Olympic Park from January 18 to 19. The concert’s teaser poster shows the members running in a snow-white field, raising fans’ anticipation.
The special album and concert were part of a project to celebrate GFRIEND’s 10th debut anniversary, and the six members’ desire to present precious memories to their fans was garnered. The project, which will reflect the memories of BUDDY (fans of the group) and the members, as well as many of GFRIEND’s hit songs, is expected to be a meaningful opportunity for all music fans.
GFRIEND released the new logo on the group’s official YouTube channel. The video, which begins with the introduction of their second mini album, the title track “Me gustas tu” and the loud cheers of the fans, made the viewers feel overwhelmed by the bright stars and the team’s new logo.
GFRIEND is a K-pop girl group that debuted on January 16, 2015, and has produced a number of hit songs such as “Glass bead“, “Me gustas tu“, “Rough”, and “Mago”.
