YG Entertainment will seek to find the next generation of talents who will lead the future of K-pop through large-scale auditions for a nationwide tour.
YG Entertainment announced on January 21 that it will hold the “2025 YG NATIONAL AUDITION TOUR” from February 7 to 23. The auditions will be held seven times in six cities, starting with Gwangju on February 7, Daejeon on February 8, Jeonju on February 9, Daegu on February 15, Busan on February 16, and Seoul on February 22 and 23.
Regardless of gender and nationality, young people born between 2007 and 2014 are eligible to apply. Applicants can choose one of the areas in which they are most comfortable in singing, rapping, dancing, and visuals.
Auditions are held in advance and applications are made on site. Pre-registration can be done via YG Entertainment‘s audition website until 12 p.m. KST. On-site applications can be submitted on-site until 4 p.m. KST on the day of the audition.
YG Entertainment has dominated the global K-pop market by creating a large number of global artists, such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, WINNER, iKON, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER, who recently made its “presence” with its first full-length album “DRIP.”
Talents selected from the audition will have the opportunity to become the next generation of K-pop stars alongside YG Entertainment‘s experts who are at the forefront of innovation in the music industry and creating new trends.
