T.O.P
T.O.P (real name Choi Seung Hyun), who is active as an actor, has re-registered his name on BIGBANG’s official channel and SNS.

Recently, there has been a growing controversy within the BIGBANG fandom that T.O.P, who left the group in 2023, might be rejoining. This is because T.O.P’s name and photo have been added to BIGBANG’s official YouTube channel.
According to the fandom, the introduction of BIGBANG’s existing channel had three names, G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG, and T.O.P’s name has recently been added. However, some fans are paying attention to the authenticity of the rumor, as some point out that T.O.P’s name was originally there.
T.O.P is also creating more buzz by adding “TOP,” a stage name used during BIGBANG, in front of Choi Seung Hyun’s name on his personal channel.
Earlier in 2016, T.O.P was sentenced to 10 months in prison and two months of probation for smoking cannabis, causing a social controversy. He was unable to stand in public for a while due to this drug controversy.
Since then, T.O.P, whose exclusive contract with his existing agency YG Entertainment was terminated in 2022, has been independent. Since then, T.O.P has become the center of controversy by deleting all BIGBANG-related content from his profile and blocking fans who mentioned BIGBANG. Additionally, he has shown actions to erase BIGBANG in his career, such as putting an X on BIGBANG in articles that mentioned him as BIGBANG’s T.O.P.
T.O.P. reintroduced himself to the public through “Squid Game 2” last year. In an interview last month, T.O.P. said, “I received an audition offer from the production team. I faced a shameful past after being offered a character of Thanos. It is also true that I had many concerns. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk gave me a good impression and read several times. That’s how the casting was confirmed,” revealing behind-the-scenes footage of the casting.
T.O.P appeared as rapper Thanos in “Squid Game 2” and was once a popular rapper, and he established himself by performing realistically with his performance, showing a rapper who failed to invest in cryptocurrency.
