SEVENTEEN’s new special unit, HOSHI X WOOZI, will release its first single album “BEAM” on March 10.

Agency Pledis Entertainment released a concept teaser on global super fan platform Weverse and SEVENTEEN’s official social media channels at midnight KST on February 19.
The released video shows HOSHI X WOOZI‘s logo and the new album title in an intense atmosphere. The monotone screen production that intersects light and dark is fresh and sensual. At the end of the video, the release schedule for “BEAM” was revealed, raising fans’ anticipation.
The album title “BEAM” means the light emitted by HOSHI X WOOZI. Since their trainee days, they have established themselves as the “best K-pop group,” and their originality and self-esteem accumulated through challenges have been expressed in various lights.
HOSHI X WOOZI will form a special unit after about eight years after working together on the title track “날 쏘고 가라” from SEVENTEEN’s second full album “TEEN, AGE” released in November 2017. As the two members, who are the leaders of the performance and vocal teams and friends of the same age born in 1996, are united, unmatched quality and “true chemistry” are expected.
SEVENTEEN boasts an unlimited musical spectrum by presenting a variety of special units. Following “거침없이” and “파이팅 해야지 (Feat. Lee Young-ji),” BOO SEOK SOON (Seungkwan, Dokyeom, Hoshi) captivated both audiences and fans with the success of “청바지” released in January. JEONGHAN X WONWOO released their debut single “THIS MAN” in June last year, achieving the highest initial sales (sales of the album in one week immediately after its release) of a K-pop unit album.
