WOOYEON from the group WOO!AH! is taking on a new challenge as a musical actress.
On February 19, his agency H Music Entertainment announced, “WOOYEON has been cast in the musical ‘Contact,’ which will be released on March 28.“
“Contact” presents a miraculous love story through encounters in 2050 and 1992 in different eras, and talks about youth and the first love that everyone has in their hearts.
In the lead role of Yeongdeok, WOOYEON plays a beautiful young woman who is in conflict between her dreams and reality. WOOYEON, who is entering the musical for the first time, is determined to fully show her versatile side as an “idol of everything” through this musical.
WOOYEON has gradually gained experience as an actress by appearing in a number of dramas such as “조아서 구독중 시즌2“, “Live on“, “Ongoing loved one“, “Third person revenge“, “Snap and spark“, “Caffeine romance“… She has also participated in OSTs for dramas such as “Becoming witch” and “Snap and spark“, and appeared on the YouTube channel “Limousine Service“, showing a soft and delicate tone, receiving favorable reviews.
