ATEEZ won the award for “K-pop Artist of the Year” at the “iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025“.
The “iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025” were held on March 17th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This awards ceremony is organized by iHeartRadio, the biggest radio network in the United States. Since 2014, this event has honored the most popular artists and songs following their airplay on iHeartRadio radio stations and the app.
For this year’s edition, in addition to being nominated in the “Favorite K-pop Dance Challenge” category for “Work“, ATEEZ won the “K-pop Artist of the Year” award, once again proving its status as an international artist. This isn’t the first time the ceremony has focused on the group. For the 2024 edition, ATEEZ was nominated for “K-pop Song of the Year” for “Bouncy (K-hot chilli peppers)“, the title track from the mini-album “THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW“. ATEEZ‘s official fandom, ATINY, was also nominated for “Best Fandom“.
Thus, ATEEZ continues to demonstrate its growing popularity by achieving dazzling results in the United States, such as ranking fourth in CD sales in the country in 2024 with 250,000 copies sold for the mini-album “GOLDEN HOUR: PART. 1“. Furthermore, its follow-up album, “GOLDEN HOUR: PART. 2“, ranked two on Billboard’s main chart, “Billboard 200“, breaking the previous album sales record in its first week of release.
Finally, ATEEZ will hold two encore concerts for its world tour “TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER” at KSPO DOME in Seoul on March 22 and 23.
