CNBLUE
The iconic second-generation K-pop idol group CNBLUE is still hugely popular both in Korea and abroad.

CNBLUE, composed of three members JUNG YONG HWA, KANG MIN HYUK, and LEE JUNG SHIN, celebrated its 15th anniversary this year since its debut in 2010. It’s no exaggeration to say that CNBLUE became what it is today thanks to him, but “외톨이야 Loner” won over audiences, topped the charts, and became a huge hit. Meanwhile, foreign media outlets are focusing on the North American tour scheduled for April, as if to prove its popularity.
“2025 CNBLUE LIVE – JOURNEY INTO X IN NORTH AMERICA” will once again reunite with its overseas fans. Starting in Toronto from the 16th to the 27th, the group will perform in four cities: New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. As a result, foreign media outlets are showing keen interest and are noting their solid global popularity.
The Knockturnal, an American entertainment media outlet, said of CNBLUE:
“They are a versatile band, from guitar to vocals to visual arts, and have been the driving force of Korean pop rock for over 15 years.”
The group also added: “We have gradually expanded our global influence with each new performance, playing to sold-out audiences in Asia, Europe, and North America.” In an interview with Knocktunnel, Lee Jung Shin expressed his strong ambition: “This tour will highlight CNBLUE’s 15-year history, its identity, and its future direction.”
The New York daily AM New York Metro discussed CNBLUE’s visit to the United States during its first world tour in January 2014: “Fans are eagerly awaiting the day CNBLUE shines on stage again.” In the interview, KANG MIN HYUK said: “Since the first world tour, the popularity of K-pop in the United States has grown even more. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to return. I’ll showcase my skills and performances.“
The American and Canadian media outlet EARMILK discussed CNBLUE’s musical developments: “Despite their long careers, the members still have the passion to embark on new adventures.” In an interview with EARMILK, JUNG YONG HWA said, “These days, I’m drawn to the raw sound of the group, so I think I’ll move closer to a more fundamental sound.”
