(G)I-DLE’s MIYEON will be teaming up with Chinese artist Jike Junyi to captivate the attention of fans worldwide.
MIYEON released the duet “Glow up” on April 16th, the first track of the global music project “Hearts’ Series” on NetEase Cloud Music, China’s leading music platform. The song, performed as a duet by MIYEON and Jike Junyi, and as a solo performance by MIYEON, garnered significant interest.
“Glow up” is a song with a catchy melody and a message of hope, and “거울 속의 나 자신을 사랑하자” is an original song that conveys positive energy to strengthen self-esteem and embrace a new self.
Regarding the collaboration, MIYEON said, “Collaborating with Jike Junyi was an unforgettable experience. I look forward to seeing my fans on stage again in the future.” Jike Junyi also added, “This was my first collaboration with a Korean singer, and it was very original and interesting. Jike Junyi is a talented artist who debuted in 2012 on Season 1 of “The Voice of China” in China and has since become popular throughout China thanks to numerous hits and films such as “Colorful black.”
MIYEON, active under the name (G)I-DLE, established herself as a solo artist with her first solo album, “MY,” released in 2022. Last year, she pursued her own music career with the release of her own single, “Sky walking.“
