PARK JINYOUNG joins the cast for new drama « 샤이닝 (Shining) ».
JTBC is preparing for its new drama « 샤이닝 (Shining) », starring PARK JINYOUNG and KIM MINJU as the lead roles.
The drama, penned by Lee Sookyeon and directed by Kim Yoonjin, revolves around Yeon Tae Oh (JINYOUNG), a train driver whose life is turned upside down at the age of 19 when a tragic accident took away his parents’ lives and left his younger brother severely injured. It also follows the romance between Yeon Tae Oh and Mo Eun Ah (MINJU) as they cross path again at the age of 30, a few years after a first break up.
With « 샤이닝 (Shining) » adding up to his filmography, the GOT7 member’s 2025 acting schedule is booked: following the February broadcast of his Channel A drama « The Witch », he will be on tvN’s « Our Unwritten Seoul » at the end of May. The movie « Hi Five » where he plays a villain will also be in theaters starting June.
At the same time, JINYOUNG will be back on stage as a singer as he will be performing at the national stadium of Rajamangala in Bangkok with his GOT7 members for an unprecedented concert On May 2nd and 3rd.
