D1, a member of the group DKB, is temporarily leaving his fans to fulfill his military obligations.
The agency Brave Entertainment transmitted the news of D1’s enlistment on September 9 via its social media.
According to the agency, D1 applied for the Army’s military music specialty and received the final admission notification from the Military Manpower Administration, and he plans to enter the recruit training center on October 26 to fulfill his military service as an active-duty soldier. On the day of enlistment, no official event will be held on site to ensure safety.
The agency requested: “We ask for your constant love and warm encouragement so that D1 can fulfill his military obligations with sincerity and return in good health.”
Born in 1998, D1 debuted in 2016 within the group PURE BOY and was active there for about a year, then re-debuted in 2020 by presenting DKB’s first mini-album, “YOUTH”.
