LE SSERAFIM obtained its 6th consecutive Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
According to the announcement by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on September 10, LE SSERAFIM’s 2nd studio album “‘PUREFLOW’ PT.1” was shipped in over 100 000 copies locally and obtained the Gold Disc “Gold” certification (as of August 2026).
Thus, LE SSERAFIM exceeded 100 000 shipped copies for the 6th consecutive time since its 1st studio album “UNFORGIVEN” released in Korea, followed by its 3rd mini-album “EASY”, its 4th mini-album “CRAZY”, its 5th mini-album “HOT” and its 1st single “SPAGHETTI”. This is a unique result among 4th generation K-pop girl groups.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards Gold Disc certifications every month such as Gold (100 000 copies or more), Platinum (250 000 copies or more), Double Platinum (500 000 copies or more), Triple Platinum (750 000 copies or more) and Million (1 000 000 copies or more) according to the cumulative number of shipments of singles and albums.
“‘PUREFLOW’ PT.1” is an album that contains the change and growth born from discovering fear. Furthermore, LE SSERAFIM will release its 2nd single “MADE MY NIGHT” on September 11 at 1 p.m. KST.
