Singer IU is gaining attention by releasing a teaser video for the title track “네모의 꿈” in Minecraft format.
On May 23rd at midnight KST, EDAM Entertainment‘s agency released a teaser video for the track “네모의 꿈,” from the remake of the album “KkotGalpi3,” on IU’s official social media and YouTube channel.
The video features Minecraft, a world composed entirely of square blocks, attracting attention with its original composition that integrates the song’s message.
The video begins with the appearance of IU’s character, accompanied by the words “KKOT-GALPI3” and “IU 네모의 꿈” in a font and composition reminiscent of the Minecraft game’s entry screen. IU then stands up, decorating the room and looking out the window, further enhancing the immersion.
Furthermore, the new version of “네모의 꿈,” inspired by the gameplay, is integrated into the video, seamlessly blending it. IU’s voice is also added in the second half, piquing fans’ interest and anticipation.
“네모의 꿈” evokes a world populated by square objects such as beds, windows, schoolbags, and classrooms. It has been praised for its unique synergy, perfectly harmonizing with the beauty of the Minecraft style. The teaser video, supported by Minecraft Korea Microsoft (MS), was produced by popular Minecraft creator “Jamjung,” who has 2.32 million subscribers on YouTube, for greater completeness.
In addition to the teaser for the track “네모의 꿈,” the concept photo for “KKOT-GALPI3,” the tracklist video, and the ARS event with a collect call, which have already been released, perfectly match the album’s mood and raise new expectations.
IU’s remake album, “KKOTGALPI3,” will be released on various music sites at 6 PM KST on May 27th.
