A year after the release of the music video for “Lost!”, the title track from his second solo album, “RIGHT PLACE, WRONG PERSON,” released on May 24 last year by BTS leader RM, continues to cause a sensation at famous international award ceremonies.

According to the results of the 2025 Shark Music Video Awards, held on May 23 (local time), the music video for “Lost!” won three awards: “Best Music Video,” “Best R&B/Soul Music Video,” and “Best Direction.”
In addition, the music video for “Neva Play,” by American rapper Meghan Thee Stallian, featuring RM, received the award for “Best Animation.”
RM, nominated in six categories at the ceremony, thus won four awards.
This year marks the 63rd anniversary of the ceremony. It is one of the oldest creative festivals in the world, selecting the best works from around the world in advertising, design, short films, and music videos.
The music video for “Lost!” has already been recognized for its artistic quality and completeness at several award ceremonies. At the 2024 Berlin Commercial Awards, it won the Cinematography category, while at the CICLOPE festival, it won the Gold, Cinematography, and Color Graduation categories.
In addition, it was nominated for Best International Alternative Video and Best Production Design at the UK Music Video Awards. In March, it won the Bronze medal in the Music Video category at the 2025 British Arrow Awards.
The music video for “Lost!” was directed by Frenchman Aube Perrie, famous for directing British pop star Harry Styles’ music video, who took to the megaphone, and RM himself appeared as the main character escaping from the labyrinth of his thoughts.
The music video generated a lot of interest upon its release thanks to its ubiquitous, meaningful objects and witty productions, where the size and proportions of the space change irregularly.
In addition, RM, who is serving in the army, will be discharged on the 10th of next month.
