YUGYEOM is coming back with “INTERLUNAR” on June 17, 2025.
On May 23, AOMG announced YUGYEOM‘s June comeback with what seems to be a musical release.
The announcement finally came, after several days of teasing on social media: while many fans thought of a duo project between YUGYEOM and YOUNGJAE as they suddently posted about the moon simultaneously, they quickly realized it was purely coincidental as YUGYEOM soon started to change his profile picture every day with the drawing of different phases of the moon on X (ex-Twitter).
In the end, it should be a musial release, but not just any release: it will probably be YUGYEOM‘s last album before he starts his military service at the end of the year for a duration of almost 2 years. It could be why YUGYEOM chose to write at the bottom of the announcement flyer :
“Just interlunar not the end, you are still my moonlight so I’ll be okay just fine. I’ll see you around. Still glowing by your side. You never let me go no not once now I just know. Now I’m not afraid no not anymore. We’ll find our way back sooner or later. When the moment comes won’t you call my name. The night is slow but we keep goin’ no need to hide away fine here just wait we’ll shine again someday just don’t forget, we’re not alone. No, never, just hold on.”
At the same time, the declaration makes us think of an excerpt of his upcoming work. Would it be the lyrics to a song? The titles of an album? We will have to wait patiently for June 17 to know.
