To mark BTS’s V‘s release on June 10, Chinese fans will hold a special event.

V‘s Chinese fan club, “Baidu V bar,” has announced several events to celebrate V‘s discharge from the military.
First, four projects were unveiled. Two buses decorated with his logo will operate in Chuncheon and Seoul, where V is serving in the military. The fan club announced: “To celebrate TAEHYUNG’s return after 548 days of military service, two buses decorated with his image will operate in Hybe and Chuncheon from June 10 to 14.”
Then, in Seongsu-dong, a hotspot for Generation Z, a huge 237-square-meter billboard will be installed for a week. It announces V‘s return with the words “Born to be a superstar” and “V IS BACK.”
In addition, two LED trucks will circulate in front of the main entrance of V‘s agency, Hybe, to celebrate his discharge from the military. About 180 messages and congratulatory messages, showing the love and support from Chinese fans, will be broadcast on the LED screen.

At the cafe behind Hybe, an event will be held to celebrate V‘s 12th debut anniversary, providing fans with a gathering and socializing space. Various installations, including large outdoor banners and fan souvenirs, will be set up to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Thanks to his huge fan base, V has been elevated to the status of “Prince of the Mainland” by Chinese fans, taking first and second place in the K-pop album group purchase rankings, with the most BTS albums. V‘s birthday, on December 30th, is notably the season with the highest advertising spending due to the year-end special, and he provides V with unlimited support by holding special events.
He was the first Korean artist to have a light show organized to celebrate his birthday at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world’s tallest skyscraper, attracting worldwide attention. The Burj Khalifa hosted a birthday show for the second consecutive year. He was also the first artist to be featured in a birthday advertisement on LED billboards, ABC’s super billboard in Times Square in New York City, which are only used for live broadcasts on ABC and ESPN due to high advertising costs.
In Seoul, for the first time as an artist, he officially sponsored the Seoul Christmas Festival at Cheonggyecheon and set up a “Purple V” area to showcase various sculptures and illuminations symbolizing the artist V. In Daegu, a 2-meter-high, 60-meter-long panoramic mural was installed at V‘s elementary school.
