J-HOPE of BTS will release his digital single “KILLING IT GIRL (feat. GloRilla)” on June 13 at 1 PM KST, Big Hit Music announced on May 29.

“Killing it girl (feat. GloRilla)” is a hip-hop track that candidly expresses the sudden excitement of love at first sight. With this release, J-HOPE will wrap up his solo single project while showcasing the peak of his expanded musical range.
On the evening of May 28, a snippet of “Killing it girl (feat. GloRilla)” was revealed in the concept film “Charm of HOPE” on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel, sparking major interest from fans around the world. Even though only the instrumental was previewed, its polished rhythm and powerful beats—along with its addictive groove—immediately make you want to nod along.
The collaboration between J-HOPE and American rapper GloRilla is generating strong anticipation. GloRilla is making waves on the global hip-hop scene with her hard-hitting rap and explosive energy. Her album “GLORIOUS,” released last year, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. She was also named “Best New Hip-Hop Artist” at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
J-HOPE will perform “Killing it girl (feat. GloRilla)” live for the first time during the finale of his “Hope on the Stage” tour on June 13 and 14 at the main stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang. Ahead of the release, he will gradually unveil concept photos, MV teasers, and other content, building strong anticipation for his comeback. Additional promotional activities are also planned after the single drops, heightening fans’ excitement even more.
To recap, J-HOPE launched his solo single project this past March with “Sweet dreams (feat. Miguel),” a serenade about his desire to love and be loved. In “Mona Lisa,” he humorously described being mesmerized by an irresistible person. Now, “Killing it girl (feat. GloRilla)” completes this emotional journey he has crafted through each release.
In a recent interview on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show, J-HOPE shared:
“I carefully thought through the order and emotional progression of this single project. This last song is the one I feel most personally attached to.”
With this track, he aims to close out his solo project while demonstrating the depth of his artistic evolution.
