Global popstar HEYOON continues her activities without taking a break.

HEYOON recently shared an update with her fans via the official Universal Music A&L Instagram account, announcing that “the next single will be released in July,” sparking excitement for her return.
Even during her break, HEYOON continues to prepare for a new musical chapter. In the May issue of Rolling Stone Korea (No. 14), she openly shared her deep thoughts on music, life, and identity, revealing her inner side. HEYOON said, “When I became my own support, the confidence that came from it was different. That’s why I focus on myself. Loving who I am is the most important thing,” showing a stronger image as a solo artist.
Based on her experience with identity confusion during her time abroad and how she overcame it, HEYOON expressed her desire to “become a representation for someone else.” She explained her goal of not just being a musician but of offering comfort and courage through her own story.
A former member of the global group NOW UNITED, which toured over 30 countries, HEYOON has continued to shine in her international career. Last month, she participated in promoting Lady Gaga’s “MAYHEM” tour in Singapore, organized by the Singapore Tourism Board. Through content created with host JaeJae, HEYOON showcased not only her artistic sense as a K-pop artist but also her growing influence on the global stage.
Earlier this year, her second single “ASAP” was a huge success, with its dreamy vocals and elegant performances capturing the attention of both domestic and international listeners. All eyes are now on HEYOON’s upcoming album, set for release in July, to see what kind of music she will offer next.
